Alongside the 1st-order geodesic marker, the summit features a metal memorial cross set on a stone base (Cruzeiro / Homenagem a João Paulo II). Offers an unobstructed 360° panoramic view overlooking the bends of the Mondego River, the Barragem da Raiva dam, the Serra da Lousã and Serra da Estrela mountain ranges, as well as the Penacova and Vila Nova de Poiares valleys. For Cyclists: • Road: Climb via CM1241 through the village of Carvalho. The final stretch packs a punch with steep pitches averaging 8–10%. • Gravel / MTB: Accessible via dirt roads and forest tracks coming up from the Mondego Valley.
