About this place
While it may look like a standard gas station, for a cyclist, this Repsol is a strategic survival point. Located conveniently near the Sanctuary of Fátima, it serves as a reliable service hub when everything else in the area might be closed. It’s clean, well-lit, and perfectly positioned for those arriving at the plateau or preparing for the descent.
Our Experience (A Lifesaver on the Road!): We’ve been here, and it was a game-changer. On a weekend route when other shops were shut, this was the only place open to grab a cold Coca-Cola and restock on water. Despite being a gas station, the coffee is surprisingly good—perfect for that final caffeine kick before heading back out.
Important for Bike Travelers! ⚠️
• Reliability: This is your "Plan A" for weekends and holidays.
• Operating Hours: It works 24/7 (with the shop/counter service fully active from 07:00 to 23:00), making it dependable for early-bird riders or late-finishers.
• The Essentials: Expect a good selection of cold drinks and snacks — essentials that every bike traveler looks for.
• Location: It’s situated right on the main access routes to the Sanctuary, so you don’t have to detour to find fuel (for yourself or your electronics).
Why it’s a Key Point:
• One of the few guaranteed open spots on weekends/holidays.
• Quick service: get your water and coffee without the long waits of a traditional restaurant.
• Safe and accessible location in the Fátima hub.
