Miradouro da Serra da Boa Viagem

Miradouro da Serra da Boa Viagem is a panoramic viewpoint in the hills just outside Figueira da Foz, surrounded by the natural landscape of Serra da Boa Viagem. The viewpoint offers impressive views towards Cabo Mondego, its lighthouse and the Atlantic coast. It is part of the PR3 FIG — Rota da Boa Viagem, a circular route through the Serra da Boa Viagem that connects several viewpoints and natural landmarks, including Cabo Mondego, Quiaios and the surrounding forest. For cyclists, this is an excellent destination or stopping point when exploring the hills north of Figueira da Foz. The climb through Serra da Boa Viagem is rewarded with panoramic scenery, while the surrounding roads and trails make the area particularly interesting for MTB and gravel rides. A perfect place to stop, enjoy the Atlantic views, take a few photos and continue exploring one of the most scenic cycling areas around Figueira da Foz.
