Join Bike Universe for a scenic and challenging group ride from Soure to the beautiful Serra de Sicó, followed by a journey through Pombal and the historic town of Louriçal. This approximately 65 km route combines rewarding climbs, spectacular mountain panoramas, picturesque villages and peaceful Portuguese countryside. 🏔️ Highlights of Our Adventure 📍 Miradouro da Serra de Sicó Our main destination and one of the highlights of the tour! Serra de Sicó is known for its distinctive limestone landscapes, rocky hills, natural viewpoints and beautiful countryside panoramas. The climb will be challenging, but the views from the mountains should make every metre of elevation gain worthwhile. 🏰 Pombal We'll continue towards Pombal, a historic Portuguese town famous for its impressive 12th-century Templar castle, built under the direction of Gualdim Pais. The town and its surrounding countryside offer a fascinating combination of history, traditional architecture and scenic landscapes. ⛪ Louriçal Our return journey takes us through Louriçal, a charming historic town known for its religious heritage, including the 17th-century Convento do Louriçal and its beautiful church. From here, we'll continue through the countryside towards Soure, completing our circular adventure. 🌿 About the Ride Expect a mixture of rural roads, gravel tracks, beautiful landscapes and some demanding climbs. With approximately 1,200 metres of elevation gain over 65 km, this tour is best suited to cyclists who are comfortable with longer rides and hilly terrain. As always, this is not a race!
